Privacy policy
The short version: the RallySteps app does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything your child does in the app is stored only on your device.
Who we are
RallySteps is made by EVOQ Sp. z o.o., ul. Juliusza Słowackiego 55/1, 60-521 Poznań, Poland (KRS 0000770513, NIP 7792503067). EVOQ is the controller for any personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].
What the app stores, and where
- During set-up a grown-up enters a first name (or nickname), an age, goals and the equipment at home. The app uses these to plan each day.
- The app keeps a record of days played, cards finished, counts and the "How was it?" answers so it can adjust difficulty and show progress.
- All of this is stored only on the device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.
What the app does not do
- No account or sign-in, and no email address collected.
- No advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking across apps or websites.
- No camera, and nothing is ever recorded. Wall Rally can listen through the microphone to count ball hits on the wall: the sound is analysed on the phone as it happens and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. If a grown-up says no to the microphone, the child taps to count instead.
- The coach's voice is pre-recorded and built into the app, so it works offline and needs no connection.
- No links out of the app or purchases without a grown-up passing the parental gate.
Purchases
Subscriptions are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We receive sales reports from Apple that do not identify you or your child.
Children
RallySteps is designed for children aged 5 to 8 and is set up by a parent or guardian. Because we do not collect personal information from children, no child's data reaches us. If this ever changes (for example, optional sync between devices), we will ask for a parent's consent first and update this policy.
This website and the web preview
- This website uses no cookies and no analytics. Fonts are served from our own site.
- This website is hosted by Cloudflare, and the web preview by Vercel. Like any web host, they process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and secure the service.
- The web preview of the app stores progress in your browser's local storage on your device. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and a code library from cdnjs (Cloudflare), which receive your IP address when the page loads. The iPhone app does not.
Launch email list
- If you leave your email address on this website, we store that address and the date you signed up. Nothing else.
- We use it for one purpose: to tell you when RallySteps is available. We do not share it, sell it or use it for advertising.
- The list is stored with Cloudflare, our website host. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- We delete the list once the launch email has been sent, and at the latest 12 months after you signed up. To be removed sooner, email [email protected].
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us about any personal data we hold, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. For the app, we hold none: the data lives on your device and you can delete it by deleting the app or using "Reset" in the grown-ups area. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), at uodo.gov.pl.
Changes
If we change how RallySteps handles data, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
